At 1 pm on Saturday, June 2, we will have the Pridefest Rally next to the pond in Neahwa Park. This year’s rally highlights our local GSAs (student-run organizations to support LGBT young people). We will celebrate the progression of Pride, from the Stonewall riots to the present day and into the future. Rickety Fence, a local folk, rock and Americana band will provide music. The Reverend LaDana Clark will be the keynote for Pridefest this year.
Reverend Clark (aka LADYJAM) brings of lot of past into her present and future: police officer, US Army National Guard, rapper, song-writer, radio broadcasting, minister and LGBTQ activist. Hers is a message of redemption, hope and fiery enthusiasm. So happy to have her join us!
